  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 lb cooked turkey bacon (crispy and crumbled or cut into slider-sized pieces)
  • Arugula or baby spinach for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into slider-sized portions and marinate with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook marinated chicken pieces in a skillet over medium-high heat until golden brown and cooked through (about 4-5 minutes per side).
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes; simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Assemble sliders by spreading glaze on buns and layering chicken with crispy turkey bacon.
