  • 1/2 cup Korean Gochujang Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil (or water)
  • 1/3 cup coconut aminos
  • 23 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 7 cups halved Brussels sprouts
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil (or avocado oil)
  • 3 Tbsp coconut aminos
  • thinly sliced shallot or green onion (optional)
  • chopped roasted salted peanuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by whisking together Gochujang Sauce, sesame oil (or water), coconut aminos, maple syrup, sea salt, and chili garlic sauce in a medium bowl.
  2. Heat sesame oil (or avocado oil) in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add halved Brussels sprouts and sauté until slightly browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce over the sautéed Brussels sprouts and stir to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until heated through and caramelized.
  4. Garnish with sliced shallots or green onions if desired, then serve warm.
