  • 6 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup red onion (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup celery (chopped)
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. In a food processor, blend cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, and Dijon mustard until smooth.
  3. Pour the cream mixture into the skillet with melted butter, whisking until thickened.
  4. On a lined baking sheet, create six circles of shredded cheese and bake for 6-8 minutes until crisp.
  5. In a bowl, mix drained tuna with chopped celery, red onion, Parmesan cheese, and the cooled cream sauce; season with salt and pepper.
