  • 8 oz. Brie cheese wheel or wedge
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Crackers, apple slices, or bread (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Score the top of the Brie rind with a knife about 1/4 inch from the edge and place it on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the center is melted. Alternatively, microwave for 3-5 minutes.
  3. While the Brie bakes, toast the nuts in a medium pan over medium heat until fragrant and golden.
  4. Stir in honey (or maple syrup), cinnamon, and salt to coat the nuts.
  5. Once the Brie is done baking, optionally remove the top rind, then pour the nut mixture over the warm cheese.
