  • 4 tbsp Dalkin&Co Taco Seasoning
  • 2 onions (quartered)
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ½ cup beef stock
  • Small flour tortillas
  • Guacamole (homemade or store-bought)
  • Your favorite salsa

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Season the chuck roast generously with kosher salt, pepper, and taco seasoning.
  2. Place the seasoned roast in a Dutch oven with quartered onions, orange juice, and beef stock. Cover and bake for 3.5 to 4 hours.
  3. Once tender, shred the meat using two forks. If necessary, return it to the oven covered for an additional 30 minutes.
  4. Increase oven temperature to 425°F (218°C) and spread shredded meat on a baking sheet; bake uncovered for 15-25 minutes until crispy.
  5. While the meat crisps up, prepare guacamole and warm tortillas over an open flame if desired.
  6. Assemble tacos by spreading guacamole on tortillas, adding shredded meat, and topping with salsa.
