  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter
  • 57 tbsp cold water
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  2. Peel, core, and slice the apples; toss them with granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly; gradually add cold water until dough forms. Chill for one hour.
  4. Roll out one disc of dough into a circle; place it in your pie pan and fill with the apple mixture.
