  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg (beaten)
  • 1 Onion (finely diced)
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 3 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 Onion (sliced)
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, diced onion, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to maintain tenderness.
  2. Shape the mixture into oval patties and sear them in an oven-safe skillet until golden brown on both sides.
  3. For the gravy, sauté sliced onions in butter until soft. Add flour, then whisk in beef broth and heavy cream until smooth.
  4. Nestle the seared patties back into the skillet with gravy. Cover and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes; uncover for an additional 15 minutes.
